I'm jumping right into the meat of the thread. There were these pretty gnarly fires that have been burning for almost a week now. And while all of my shots of the fire, from the fire are weak to me, I got this shot which really blew me away.

Son you best get some sunrise/sunset shot of that smoke. Sharp orange lighting on smoke or clouds like that is just about the sexiest thing I know.

I guess this can be a thread for anyone in California who's experiencing the LA wildfires right now. But I made sure on getting a shot like that.
I was gonna take a pic of the fires from my dorm but I don't have a good camera.
