To build hype. I mean, you posted (as well as many other have elsewhere/here) wondering about the new character. It catches people's interest or gets people interested who may not be. Just basic marketing.
Watch someones channel get nuked due to this anyway.

They've pretty much mentioned everything at this point aside from the 5th character.
We have:
Red Focus
Double Ultra
Major ongoing balance changes
4 new characters and ow they play
rehashed xT stages
KoF style online team battle mode
Online training mode (I think, I forget if this was actually confirmed)
