What I mean is Laptops / HDTV's, or other devices with Glossy Black Screens when turned off.
Do you guys have any hints and tips to get them looking relatively smudge free, they don't really show when in use, but are pretty annoying when switched off.
By smudges I mean like Dust Marks from the atmosphere and fingerprints and such.
Thanks in Advance.
A damp cloth. Don't EVER use chemicals on them.
I blew $25 on a box of screen cleaning supplies. But it works flawlessly. Got if from TigerDirect.
chemicals are okay on a glossy screen.
if it were a nonglossy screen, what's referred to as a "glare resistant" screen, anything but water and a soft cloth would be bad, and only a teeny bit of water. some chemicals are okay, though, but not a whole lot of them, and typically only those that say for use on non-glossy screens.

Thanks guys.

Ah the main reason why people buy shit on the internet.
Just get some Screen cleaning fluid and a Microfibre cloth (like the ones you clean your glases with)
Just so you know, Windex will eat the screen. :buddy:
