• Rescued A Bird From a Magpie

I found it outside on the road with the magpie pecking the back of it's head. I think it's some kind of swift. Anyway, it's been breathing for about half an hour so hopefully it will recover like the one that hit my window last year. And yes, you don't need to tell me it'll probably die, I know that already. I would post pictures but my only camera (my phone) is terrible and it just looks like a dark brown blur.
What if the magpie was hungry. You bastard, you killed a magpie.
What if the magpie was hungry. You bastard, you killed a magpie.
Only on the internet =P Also, yay for saving the random bird, whether it dies or not =D
The magpie might have a nest it was scavenging for! Now the baby magpies will starve, just so you can watch a bird slowly die (it sounds like it's dying).
leave the window open!
leave the window open!
It is, hopefully not for too long though, it's quite chill outside...
Let it die in it's natural habitat.
Shouldn't interfere with nature... If a fox is eating a rabbit, leave it. If a fox is eating your pet rabbit, stop it.
oh shit op you've disrupted the food chain we're doomed
best of luck in the recovery process.
Shouldn't interfere with nature... If a fox is eating a rabbit, leave it. If a fox is eating your pet rabbit, stop it.
hurr theres a fire i shouldn't put it out cause dats the way OF NATURE :downs:
Magpies look awesome, I hope you're happy that the magpie may now be dying of starvation, because you stole it's dinner.
Magpies are annoying little shits that kill just for the sake of killing, I see em do it all the time.

it might survive.. i rescued a tit baby (hurr :downs:) that fell from the nest... the tits made a nest in our vacuum exhaust pipe thing, so that's where i found it... give it a drop of coca-cola and feed it raw mincemeat if it eats i did this for a few days and took it to a bird zoo and it survived [editline]08:31PM[/editline] i also had pet magpies
You should have punched it some more.
Do you have to salute them if it's just a picture?
I don't think you will need to

You can teach magpies to speak.
Hey look guys, if a predator is attacking prey you should stop it! It's not like it's similar to how prey would eat grass.
Hey look guys, if a predator is attacking prey you should stop it! It's not like it's similar to how prey would eat grass.
how should I do this, kind sir?
You know that movie where the guy steps on the butterfly in the past and destroys the roses in the future? You've just fucked up episode three.
Did you teach them to speak? You can teach magpies to speak.
nope, they weren't caged or anything so i never spoke to them that much they did fly to me each time i went out or opened the front door
Make it carry coconuts.
Magpies are cool why didn't you let it eat :saddowns:
One day I went outside and saw a magpie harassing my pet chicken. And I'm not talking about any old European magpie, I mean the real deal Magpie we have in Victoria, Australia, whose victims include children walking home from school who happen to be on the same street as a magpie nest. Them shits be crazy. Anyway I launched the closest thing I could find, a full size broom, about half the length of my large back yard, and pegged the magpie like pow. Then I bro-fisted Crispy (Crispy was the chicken).
I like to stop things like this in nature. It's like playing the role of a benevolent god and trolling the predator at the same time.

They make pies in Magnum Sizes?
You are allowing a weaker individual to have children, thus spreading his weakness for generations. Only the strongest survive the rough proccess of evolution. By saving this bird, you may have damned a thousand of its offspring. Good job.
They make pies in Magnum Sizes?
Yes, indeed they do. :downs:
