Republican Sen. Jeff Flake, who's been adamantly opposed to Republican Alabama Senate hopeful Roy Moore, posted a photo Tuesday of a check with his signature on it that was addressed to Moore's Democratic rival, Doug Jones.
Good man. Nice to see there's a shred of decency left in the Republican party.
Still voted for the tax bill though.
only $100 tho :v:
Sorry this is probably off topic, but i want to apologize on behalf of all the people in AL who have the decency to not vote for child molesting corrupt scum. i am so so so sorry that moore will 90% win, i feel so shameful and miserable and have been feeling down for a while :disappoint:

$100 is a reasonable sum for a citizen. This man is also risking his job.

Flake isn't seeking reelection so this him trying to get a pat on the back. "Look how brave I am donating to this Democrat who's not a sexual predator." Pretty fucking low bar, man.

You could say it's...
pretty flakey.
Not to be a dick but not supporting a pedophile isn't exactly something you should be fishing for praise over. It should be the norm for everyone.
The fact that this is out of the ordinary shows how fucked up the politic climate in the US is right now.
I don't care how meaningful this is to FPers, I care how meaningful it is to the people he's trying to get across to. I'll praise this even if all it changes is a single Republican mind.
It sucks that the only Republicans speaking out (Bob Corker and Jeff Flake) are not seeking re-election. This kinda implies that the vast majority of Republican Congressmen dislike Trump
