As per title, I am thinking of purchasing a laptop and I have a budget of $500 tops, though closer to $400 would be better of course. I will primarily only be using this laptop for basic things like browsing the net, chatting over messengers/webcam. I would like to play Amnesia: The Dark Descent and maybe Portal 2 as well. Basically just a basic laptop that is able to run a few games. Searching around on Newegg, I found a few things. Acer Aspire http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834215191 Asus http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834230216 Dell Inspirion http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834200320 I'm not really sure if any of those are a good deal for the price, though. If anyone knows of anything that suits my needs and can help, I'd appreciate it.
They're not bad, you can play some games on low maybe medium. They are nice for the price, I would get the ASUS since their laptops are pretty damn cool and they have great customer service in case anything gets fucked up.
Asus, I have the 17.3 inch version of that Dell and its got a sissy ass fan for a quad core (Intel I3)
the i3 is a dual core...
