McNamara died in her sleep Thursday, Kevin McLaughlin of Main Stage Public Relations said Friday. No cause was given, but McLaughlin said her passing "was a complete shock to her family and friends, who loved her dearly."
McNamara graduated from the University of Notre Dame and received a master's degree in creative writing from the University of Minnesota. She founded the website True Crime Diary, which covers both breaking stories and cold cases.
The couple have a 7-year-old daughter, Alice.
Right around the time his new special is released. Poor guy.
Oh god i hope Patton doesnt do anything.
He has pretty bad depression already.
This is going to be extremely rough on both him and his daughter. I hope they do alright.
Oh man, I hope Patton is gonna be okay. After having listened to pretty much all his material, you do get a bit of insight on his personality and emotional balance and I'm genuinely worried this might do some serious damage to his health or career as a comedian
Yikes. And Patton is a depressed individual who constantly thinks of suicide on a daily basis. I hope this doesn't send him over the edge.

He seems way too committed to his daughter to do something like that. Still, I imagine he's gonna be under the radar for a while.
