Rasterbator is a program that can be used to make images from your computer into large printable pictures that you can place on your wall as posters, it works by rendering the chosen image into a bunch of dots which are then printed out over several pages of paper.
You can 'rasterbate' online or download a standalone executable here.
Here is an example of what it does;

I have chosen to decorate my room with large rasterbated pictures, because my walls are bare at the moment. I have chosen to do these pictures in colour, if anyone decides to do this before me, or has done before, can you please report on how much colour ink is used up? Each poster I'm going to make is using around 15 sheets of A4.
Enjoy.
Is the similarity to "masturbator" intended?
I'm not sure lol
Seems like alot of ink to use.
Seen this a while back. Pretty cool, but ink is too expensive for that these days.

Oh it is. You could easily go through 3 or 4 cartridges.
Looks pixely. And would that really look good on your wall? All those separate pieces of paper held together by tacks, glue or -shiver- tape.
This looks great when printed on matte photo paper. The colors are deeper and it doesn't fold up from being saturated with ink.
I recommend getting one of those paper cutters that use a guide instead of trying to freehand it with scissors though.
Would rather buy a £10 good quality poster than £15 on ink doing this.

Yes, this seems like a much more sensible solution...?
I just rasturbated and shot a huge load of posters.
This is so old that when Alexander Graham Bell sent the first telephone message to his assistant in the next room, that message was the web address to the Rasterbator.
I had this program a while back.
Pretty cool and if you set the ink dots to small it looks even better.
This kid just say it on Rachel Ray show today.
My mom was like O look at this and I told it its been around for ages.
Just cause a C, no scratch that Z list star found it it isn't new.

I didn't know what you said, so I just read this out loud in a Little Jacob voice.
EDIT: Oh, now it makes sense. It was like one of those magic eye posters, you know?
My second one...

^Some girl from food network that got fat and has a talk show now.
I got a laser printer (albeit in b/w) and it's freaking awesome for printing this shit out with the exception that I keep getting annoying white borders.
Someone post your best porn picture so I can have it. I can't decide which of mine is the best.
What's it called? Masterbator?

Aren't you supposed to cut off the white parts of your paper afterwards? :P
When I find something worth blowing up, I take a digital copy to a print shop. Costs something like $5 and the result is 1000% better than that. Seriously, call around and see what it costs to get something like that done. I bet you'll be surprised how cheap it is.

If you have the proper printer drivers installed, the printer properties page when creating a print job should allow you to disable the borders/margins. At least my HP has the drivers to do so.
No need. I work at Office Depot. We have an industrial large format color printer, able to spit them out at 36 inches wide, and unlimited length
:smug:

I've noticed that when using borderless printing, you can still see grids on the poster after you paste it together as the quality decreases in the border areas of the paper.

Any printer can do unlimited length.

Yeah well, this one does it twice.

I wonder if I've got that box of old dot matrix printer paper that is all connected together.
It was like this: :smug:

Thing is I want posters of bands, and pretty much none of the bands I listen to are big enough to have posters.

Don't the source images have to have quite a large resolution? With this you can use it with small images.

Hmm, I've had an idea. Does anybody know of any websites where I could send them the PDF's that Rasterbator created and they could print them off for me in high quality? I'm in the UK.
I made one last year it looks great
I'm going to start spending my money a lot of iink cans and make a metric fuckton of these
