The group called, “DEAR LORD, THIS YEAR YOU TOOK MY FAVORITE ACTOR, PATRICK SWAYZIE. YOU TOOK MY FAVORITE ACTRESS, FARAH FAWCETT. YOU TOOK MY FAVORITE SINGER, MICHAEL JACKSON. I JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW, MY FAVORITE PRESIDENT IS BARACK OBAMA. AMEN." currently has 1,172,263 members. It has an album of anti-Obama photography uploaded by the members, including photos that show the president against a communist flag, photos with derogatory captions and cartoons that associate Obama to Hitler. Another Facebook group, “Petition to remove Facebook group praying for President Obama’s death,” was created to protest the anti-Obama group and advocate for its removal and currently has 654,500 members. Its sole purpose is to “encourage Facebook to remove the page praying for the death of President Obama” by listing steps that members can take to do so. Facebook’s terms of use claim that it bans all members from posting any content that may be “hateful, threatening, pornographic, or that contains nudity or graphic or gratuitous violence.” As of now, Facebook has taken no action against the anti-Obama group. This is not the first time Facebook has dealt with controversy over President Obama. In September 2009, many users complained after discovering a Facebook poll that weighed whether President Obama should be killed.[/release] 1 million Joe Biden fans and counting!

I can't stand Obama, but I would prefer to see him just not win reelection. Asking for his death is going a bit far. People like this just reflect badly on all of the normal conservatives of the world.
