Besides the station, the update also adds a 900k dollar (about 13 euro) orbital cannon system you can buy and per shot you have to pay 500k dollar (7,50 euro).

Best thing about that Orbital Cannon is there's no way to avoid it, if some shit head who's got a fuck load of modded money, enough that he won't give a flying fuck about the lock on shot, then it's just a legit version of someone blowing someone else up from across the map using hacks.

Well, there is a 45 minute cooldown so there is at least something to prevent maximum bombarding

I mean, with hacks I can already explode any one on the map, and I can even make it look like someone else made the explosion so they get the kills. Orbital cannon sounds like a waste of everyone's time.

Only for those who don't play legit anyways. Or perhaps it actually adds further tools for the "insta-explode".
You see, rather than just having someone simply explode, you can call down a strike on anyone that won't cost anything, will have no cooldown, and can have the signature of whoever sent it masked to be someone else.
Prior if you spontaneously exploded it was 100% hacks, but now how can you tell if rather than exploding you get hit with an OrbStrike?

Its gonna make it easier to do that since you are hijacking a feature of the game instead of using a system to force an explosion at some players location.

Cheats already hijack a feature of the game, the function that creates explosions. It would actually be more work to reverse this new feature rather than continuing to use already known and documented function which this new feature probably uses itself.
