I am thinking of getting one of these 2 laptops just not sure if there worth the money and what risks they might have
Gateway P-7803H-CA Intel C2D P7350 4GB 500GB 17IN WXGA+ GTS 9800 1GB Vista Premium 64BIT Notebook

ASUS N51VN-A1 Intel T9600 4GB 320GB 15.6IN 1366X768 GeForce GT 240M 1GB BT Vista Premium Notebook

( how much better is the GT 240M over the 9800? )
get the Asus one
Do you want a laptop, or a portable desktop with an hour for battery life?
the Asus laptop.
Just get the asus
asus are pure quality and reliability from what i have bought from them
whereas gayteway fucking suck
overpriced, tacky, shit, poor reliability and build quality
A lot of my friends have ASUS laptops and all I hear about them is quality.
I think the Gateway is actually better in terms of build quality and reliability. They get their laptops from the supposed best laptop manufacturer out there, Sotek.
but yeah why get a portable desktop, just get a laptop.
The second laptop you can get $100 cheaper on newegg.ca

The 9800M GTS is somewhat stronger than the 240M GT but the processor difference completely changes things around. The 2.8ghz processor, due to its better architecture, is actually probably close to two times more performance than in the gateway.
