So I have this domain http://www.klusbedrijf-pjotter.nl/, haven't done anything to the site for at least 6 months (just for contact info etc).
and today I get this error when I try to get on it.
"Database Connection Failed
Error: Too many connections (1040)
Function Performed: CONNECT
Host/DB: db.klusbedrijf-pjotter.nl/md95933db75588
Database Type: mysql"
Never heard of this problem, and I'm 100% sure it's not my fault.
Is there some kind limit inside the database itself?
Hopefully someone can help. ty.
could be a DDOS

nope i'm sure there is noone that hates my website.
Too many connections obviously.
Is your site on shared hosting?
Could be that the hosting service's mySQL server your database is on is overloaded.
What web apps are you using that use the MySQL database? It could be a bug in a PHP web application where it doesn't close database connections.
