Literally everything, because Battle Royale games will never be esports?
Too many people required, too much luck element involved, and the game isn't even remotely """esports ready""" with the amount of match-ruining bugs in it.

To be fair, professional sports of any kind are an entertainment industry first and foremost. And from their Twitch statistics, it seems like they've got the audience.

Yeah, but that's one or two invitational based events. How do you keep that consistent high production quality for regular tournament play? These games need personalities to not be boring as fuck on the stage.
They're having it at IEM in 2 weeks, I have no idea why. It's going to be a fucking trainwreck having 80 people play a buggy as fuck early access game with poor netcode. I get that LoL was dead last year but it would have made more sense to replace it with DOTA 2 or Overwatch. Doesn't matter to me anyway, I'm there for CSGO
Sports and their e variety are all about the merchandising and sponsorships. If they can get enough people to put money up front for teams and a big enough grand prize, people will come.
