Speaking as someone who has been at TnB for a while now, and having tested the map on the current TacoScript and in Single Player, the map still needs a lot of touch ups. Doors aren't working properly with the script, there's a lot of easily accessible areas that should be fixed up to [I]not[/I] let the player stare directly through it and into the skybox, and the lighting and textures in plenty of areas could use a lot of polishing. For example, [url=https://dl.dropbox.com/u/14352614/rp_city8_20000.jpg]what's wrong here[/url] and [url=https://dl.dropbox.com/u/14352614/rp_city8_20001.jpg]what's behind the mystery door?[/url] I'm not a mapper, so I can't really say how hard it would be to fix a lot of these lighting issues (since it's not as if Dave hasn't done it in the other C8 maps). I applaud him for his ability to churn these out, and more for being able to ignore the community's nagging at him (for better or for worse), but it still feels rushed and needing of more time. Oh well, I guess.

Anyway, Im reuploading a fixed version of the map now, just a few minor niggles I had to sort out. The map as a whole is by no means perfect, I had to cut out a lot of stuff after I hit the brush limit so some areas may seem....unfinished.
Ill need the link in the main thread changed at some point please?

Just a note on the map, and any plans to host it on multiplayer. At current, the version of the map we're running (TnB) seems to be pretty unstable, with the server using Tacoscritp 1 only being able to stay up for about 1:30 - 2:30 hours.
Either way, this map is a huge improvement on the first one!

But on the downside, the servers are filled with people who think acting emotionally with one dimensional characters constitutes is good and serious. It's comical, that's what it is. And don't get me started on the Guys In Real Life. Fucking christ, they all act the same. It's clear that many people have a warped idea of what it is to be female. And then there's the types who, because the setting is 'serious' and 'realistic', tell YOU how your character should act in the circumstances.

I was told by an admin I wasn't allowed to have the last name freeman, muscles, a tan, shorts or a hunch back in a HL2RP server. This was in the outlands by the way, I could understand any of those things being a problem in the city.
