I like Minecraft and all, but I hate how news have to post about it because it's popular.
Someone should reprogram these newsbots to just post in the Minecraft forums if there is any mention of Minecraft at all.
I like how they list Technic and then list most of the mods in it

This is so horribly out of date. In fact, of the mods listed, the only one that still relies on that outdated setup is 'Better than Wolves', because the developer is one of those egotistical pricks who shuns the entire community and thinks he can do everything himself and better.
Matmos Sound Mod was great back when I still played this. Highly recommend it. I believe it's made by a FP'er too.
There's something inherently wrong when shader mods make it to the top.
In my opinion the blocky "design" doesn't even fit minecraft, at least not anymore, I'd be glad to see triangular cuts and round surfaces.

I personally would love to see a real voxel design for minecraft.
One, it wouldn't look like developer graphics anymore.
And two, it would fit the theme of the game; mining and building.

The developer of Better Than Wolves is currently on a campaign to boycott Forge and get all modders to purposely make their mods incompatible with other mods
20 best and the Aether mod isn't in there.
Technic shouldn't really be on this list. It's a modpack, not a mod. The actual mods inside it are what deserves the credit.

From what I hear, the Forge creator refuses to document their code because they think that if you can't read it as it is, you shouldn't be coding.

Wow, with this and things like every fucking link being on Adfly, the Minecraft modding community really doesn't look good.
First of all, the SEU shaders have been updated and they show off a video from when it almost just launched in feb of last year. Secondly, the watershader has been put into SEUS.

Last time I tried to download mods every link went to Adfly and then to like 2 or 3 other ad-infested sites similar to Adfly.
It's pretty annoying honestly.

I stopped taking the list seriously after I saw X-RAY as being one of the best MC Mods.
Minecraft could have been something so much bigger and better and prettier and faster. All that wasted potential makes me sad

The Blocky design always looked terrible.
It worked for the environment, but everything else should have been stylized.
If only Notch didn't fire Dock, he could have brought so much potential graphically.

Also, the textures are a major problem. They are obvious developer textures and they never got changed. I mean, do you know one person who doesn't use a texture pack? And even if they don't, it's usually for practical reasons. (Texture packs putting more stress on machine, texture packs conflicting with mods, etc.)
This stuff may have been acceptable in Alpha and Beta, but not in the "released game" which is still full of all the unfixed problems that the Alpha and Beta had.
I could go on for pages about how much missed potential Minecraft has and how with every update it seems to get worse, but this isn't the place.
This mod list sucks, where is the dragon dildo reerrr texture pack
Also, why isn't Extra Biomes XL on the list of mods? It's an extraordinarily good mod and when paired with smart moving and Milenaire makes adventuring in Minecraft actually fun.
