Adding multiplayer takes time and resources that could be used for the SP instead, so obviously it effected it in some way.
I expected some artbooks and more non-digital goods.

It's literally only for soaking up money and gives unnecessary bonuses in multiplayer games
They were probably pressured to add in multiplayer. It's just mind blowing to me that someone would purchase this game in particular for whatever multiplayer it might have over the amazing single player it seems to have.
I'm honestly shocked that Bioshock Infinite won't have multiplayer.
They could have just added it because they like having multiplayer in their game. Uncharted 2 and 3 had it and it was a blast. Maybe it covers a story period independent of the singleplayer so fills in some plot details? Wait until we see it before judging it.
Y'know, if TLoU's multiplayer combat is at all comparable to single player (ie: survivors taking each other out by whatever means necessary, even if this means a pipe to the face), it could be pretty damn brutal.
Right now though, literally all we know is that it exists, so I'm holding my reservations until more information is available.
I gotta say, I really like that box art.

The SP in the Uncharted games has what is easily some of the highest production values seen in gaming, with phenomenally detailed environments, great characters, smooth gameplay, and a shitload of polish.
If the MP took anything away from the SP, I sure didn't notice. Uncharted 3's singleplayer was a bit disappointing compared to its predecessor, but that's because they came up with the big set pieces and designed the story around them rather than the other way around.

NaughtyDog's MP always feels like a tacked on bonus, but it's very solid and enough fun to be worthy to kill a few hours. Their main focus always seems to be on story and campaign so I'm not bothered.
