• What HD to buy?

Yap, I've been thinking of buying another internal hard drive (3.5"), but since I have no hard drive knowledge whatsoever I thought it would be best to ask the community. I have around 200 GB space right now, which is really low for my needs. I live in Sweden and my budget is around 80-100 bucks, preferably not more than that. The size should be at least around the 1 TB area, if possible.
Bättre prestanda än WDC Black?
Om man ska tro benchmarks såklart.
I went with the Samsung Spinpoint F3, I'll update the thread when I get it and tell you guys what I think of it.
The F3 is the fastest Hard-drive you can get. Also its HDD, not HD, that's the acronym for High Definition. :eng101:
I suggest 1920X1080 it's nice :smug:

It was a pun, so no real opinion was rreflected in this comment. I, myself, own a 16:10 22.6" screen, so I know what you are talking about.
I would recommend against getting the F3 - my friend's one broke within the first couple of months, plus they lack a SMART error log which any decent hard disk should have.
The F3 is very good.
Yeah, I recently installed an F3 1tb and I adore it.
I also have a F3 and love it. Yes the general consensus is the F3 is a good thing.
F3 Raid 10 at work. We swear by it.
I just got it now, I didn't have a SATA cable, would using one from my old computer still work with my new computer and drive? [editline]01:00PM[/editline] Well it did. Hm, it copies at a 30-40 MB/s rate, is this normal?
