Want to play L4D and other games mostly.
Yes.
You could fork out a bit more and get the 1GB 4870, you'll probably notice it is more performancy when the screen is full of spammy stuff.

And yes, the 4770 is a great card, it runs TF2 at max settings ( without HDR and blur, I think that's ugly ) with 8x AA and 16x AA with 90fps plus ( might drop a bit when a lot is happening ).
Really? Wat. It's like, 2 leagues above the 4770, so what the fuck.
That card is almost two times more expensive.
$110 for a 4770. $150 for a 4870 1GB. BECAUSE WE ALL KNOW $40 IS CLOSE TO $110, RIGHT? OP, I'd get a 4850. $100 on Newegg before tax and shipping.
Really? Wat. It's like, 2 leagues above the 4770, so what the fuck.
Yeah, the 4770 is around 80 euros here, the 4850 about 110-120 and the 4870 140-150.
4850, better and $10 cheaper on newegg what's the rest of your specs, could be bottlenecked
