I hope those pre rendered bits aren't the cutscenes, having a super serious moment with your dying daughter while dressed as a dinosaur in a banana hammock was the best thing ever
Was that scientist lady the woman who survives with frank west in dead rising 1?
Well, that trailer took itself a bit too seriously. Have some comparison:

Edit:
Why the fuck do these never work!

Isabella? Sure looks and sounds like her. I really hope we see Frank or Chuck. If it ever sees a PC release anyway.

Off The Record - Uranus zone. That's a trailer :D
Looked really mediocre graphically... especially for a trailer.

honestly i don't see how that effects the quality of a game?
it sucks that you can't play it without the console, but that applies to a lot of games.
Dead Rising 3 to be 720p, locked at 30 FPS

stuff
boo hoo? i'm talking about platform exclusivity, not how well the game runs.
i've seen every gameplay trailer under the son, and it looks like it's running smoothly. i'd rather have them dish out a 720 game that runs at a solid 30 fps, than a game that fluctuates in fps. i have high standards, but i'm not going to expect a launch title to run like that.
i mean shit, only like 2 ps4 and one launch titles are 1080p and 60 fps.
My smug motherfucker of a brother is getting this, Ryse, Killer Instinct, and Forza 5 for free because he works at best buy.

This game looks pretty damn sweet
Looked really mediocre graphically... especially for a trailer.
I think it looks good, this is just a launch title and the lighting and shadow filtering is already looks better than anything we've seen on current gen platforms.
Not even bothered by the 720p 30fps thingy here, since in comparison to the other two Dead Rising games, it is really locked to 30 frames without a dip even when the engine is under stress, and honestly I prefer that miles over them going for 1080p 60fps with the framerate being all over the place.
'stuff'
Oh I'm sorry I'm disappointed by what the "next gen" provides; this game looks average at best graphically and that's in a trailer!
but i'm not going to expect a launch title to run like that.
oh you should, it's fucking 2013, it should run in 60fps, especially in 720p

You just said quality of the game - that also extends to how well it runs.
Why do you have to start arguments on every single thread you post in?
On topic, if that's Isabella as the scientist in the trailer, then that's cool.

Since I don't plan on getting an xboner I'll probably just wait until a few days after release for someone to beat and record the whole game and just watch a compilation of the cutscenes to see the story and psychopaths.
The whole "Seven Deadly Sins" psychopaths has me interested, but not interested enough to buy the console, especially since I'm not a fan of any of the Microsoft exclusives.
I'm still holding onto the hope that it's a timed exclusive and they'll do a PC port at first convenience.
why are they so inconsistent about bites infecting you
frank got bit in the dick a thousand times but one zombie bites him at the end and OH NO INFECTED

but playstation and pc exclusives are okay right
why are they so inconsistent about bites infecting you

Frank wasn't bit by a zombie. He was stung by the queen wasp he swatted near the beginning of the game (which is where the infection comes from). Well actually we don't know how he got infected in the first game but he was never bit in any cutscenes so the only logical reasoning would be the one wasp he actually did physically hit in one of the first cutscenes.
At any rate the bites from a gameplay standpoint are not canon. It's just a gameplay mechanic because turning into a zombie after 1 bite (in a game where there's a billion zombies everywhere) would be really fucking stupid.
but playstation and pc exclusives are okay right
What I'm saying is most of the titles that are exclusive to Xbox don't appeal to me very much, so I'm not going to buy an Xbox One. What's so bad about that? I'm not spending $400+ for a system with only one game that I'm even remotely interested in when all the other games that will come out for it will probably be released on a system I already have, or will have.

soundtrack's pretty sick, does anybody know if it's produced in house or not?
I'll wait for the frank west version instead.
oh you should, it's fucking 2013, it should run in 60fps, especially in 720p
the reason it's locked at 30 is so that it can run at a solid 30 instead of a variable 45-60, which can cause unforseen model errors and animation glitches and generally look more choppy even if it really isn't; locking the game's framerate isn't done to spite gamers or to keep 30 fps as the "~~industry standard~~~" or whatever people are on about these days, it's to make the video game more stable and easier to test/play
this is seriously console video game development 101, i thought everyone knew this
oh you should, it's fucking 2013, it should run in 60fps, especially in 720p
i'd rather have less good graphics and a solid framerate than a game with better graphics that dips under its advertised framerate a lot.
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-09-26-guerrilla-killzone-shadow-fall-multiplayer-runs-at-60-fps-a-lot-of-the-time
killzone sf runs at 60 fps a lot of the time, not all the time. that's a fucking joke.

No, a joke is a modern game for a brand new console running at 720p 30fps and we're supposed to be okay with that. Killzone: SF having drops from 60 to...whatever FPS it drops to is still better than that.
Seriously, console fanboyism completely aside, 720p is no longer an acceptable resolution for either Sony or Microsoft, so far as I'm concerned. Turn down the bells and whistles if you have to, but get these fucking titles running at the native resolution of the screen and get them up to 60fps for the sake of responsiveness.
I don't think that's asking much of the first significant hardware refresh in the last 8 years, especially given both the PS3 and Xbox 360 were capable of 720p 60fps and occasionally 1080p.
I'm getting an xbox one at launch just so I can play this with the friend I play dr2 with. I'm hoping it is worth it. The 720p and fps lock annoy me, but seeing as there will be AA I don't give as much of a fuck at the moment.
