Nice that Nintendo is FINALLY getting on the bug-fixing boat. They've been saying they'd do that since the wii came out.

The Wii wasn't future-proofed for shit; retail Wii games can never ever be patched [url=http://hackmii.com/2009/02/why-the-wii-will-never-get-any-better/]because of its horrible infrastructure[/url]. The 3DS was clearly built with future upgrades in mind; they made it modifiable enough that a game that didn't previously support DLC now has a DLC patch. I see a good future in the 3DS now and I want to see how the Wii U turns out now.
