I'm meaning to get a Daft Punk helmet chromed, but the cast is in Resin,
I've seen Tekparasite and Volpin have theirs chromed, but they are in other countries, i live in the UK and out of the 7 companies i have contacted, none will chrome it.
I was wondering is there a similar process to get that mirror shine or is it something i'm missing?

Chroming generally involves electroplating an object with chrome, to electroplate it the object needs to conduct electricity. Hence you cant chrome resin.

This was chromed by someone when Volpin did one but he used a polyester resin.
And that resulted in this.
