I'm not sure if this belongs here, and sorry if it's a simple fix because I am not tech-savvy.
In the past few days, Steam, and the computer, has been having trouble for me. I want to know if it's happening with anybody else.
For Garry's Mod, I used to have 3650+ hours played. Now, it shows up as 9 minutes played.
For all my other games, the time stats reset as well.
My friends list isn't able to show up on Steam.
For Garry's Mod, I can't stay on a server for more than five minutes due to an error with VAC or something like that.
Sometimes, at random moments, the screen goes black and the fan goes into overdrive, forcing me to turn off my computer.
Ever since my sister started playing again (after a year or so break), a lot of crap has been happening. She's persistent in saying she hasn't done anything.
Any suggestions?
Sounds like somethings really messed up. You should remove any programs that you're unaware of (that your sister might have installed) and do a virus check
