Specs:
AMD Phenom II X4 945
7.0GB of DDR2
Asustek M4A785-M Motherboard
AMD 785GX Chipset
Nvidea Gt220 Video Card
Presently I also have a 550 Watt PSU...
I need a new video card, and possibly a new PSU within the $200 range.
What's the PSU's brand and model?
And budget goddammit.
BFG ATX 12v 2.2 550 watt
What games will you be playing with the new card?

Also, You should replace that PSU, it has no support, warranty ect. BFG is out of busisness.
Go for a Nvidia GTX460 aswell.
I'll be mostly trying to get better settings on Bad Company 2: Vietnam.

Mhmm, a 460 will handle that fine.

the warranty ending doesn't mean the PSU will suddenly die
if he already has a decent, functional PSU then there's no point buying another

Yeah, true. But I think it is best to get prepared before it actually happens and you dont got any money to spare.

Get while you can with the money you got.
If it fails, it's not very likely that it destroys the other components or anything, since it has decent quality.
He can just wait until it fails and buy a new one then.
