Safari has been crashing for me every time I open it. It's mostly on sites like YouTube, which leads me to believe that it's a flash problem. When I open the page it just freezes up and the pinwheel just keeps spinning and spinning. I noticed these problems on my MacBook after I upgraded to Snow Leopard, and now they are arising again on my recently purchased Mac Pro (also running SL). I'm running latest version of SL, Safari, and Flash.
Get Firefox
I've downloaded both Firefox and the Chrome developer beta and I get the same results for both.
Just as an FYI, Flash is a really poorly written piece of software.
I would recommend not using Flash because it's a pile of shit anyway.

Flash is a necessity in todays internet browsing.

It won't be when HTML 5 gains popularity (hopefully). I'm not sure what to recommend to the OP, if he has the latest flash there's not a lot he can do. I suppose you could always uninstall flash and reinstall to see if that makes any difference. http://support.riverdeep.net/techtips_detail.asp?id=168
I just restarted my computer and I haven't had a problem so far.
