Who is your favourite English Punk rock band? For me I would have to pick The Psychedelic Furs. Their music has a bit of a different sound to other Punk bands. I like the way the singer sings their songs too, his voice is rather husky and quite unique. Post your favourite band, explain why. Discuss about the topic.
the damned
The Clash, Sex Pistols, Wire, Buzzcocks, The Fall, Gang of Four, Joy Division, I can go all day name dropping great English punk groups. Well, not all day, but still there are a lot of great ones. Check out those bands I listed if you haven't already. They're all great. Does post-punk count? I'm a big Joy Division fan. Their earlier stuff is quite punky.
