So I'm ordering a new processor so my PC will actually work, but last time I plugged that awesome blue cable of the intertubes into the back of the thing, it didn't get any interwebs. So i'm wondering if I need something else too, thanks.

You need motherboard Ethernet drivers. Google around for drivers for your particular motherboard, most likely it will be Yukon or nForce Ethernet drivers.
Also, typing like an idiot makes you look like an idiot, just throwing that out there.
Depending on your motherboard the drivers might be on the CD that came with it/pre-installed on your OS.
