I gave SimCity Societies a shot. Even though that game was horrible. I'll give Maxis's new SimCity a shot too.
Bleh. Again, when a game dev sets a specific date that far down the road, you can expect it to be buggy and unfinished. On top of how severe the whoring out of DLC and 'cut content' we can also expect out of EA with anything they make with the word SIM in it
I hope EA doesn't wreak havoc and cut things that would be pretty cool from the game.

Spore was originally Will Wright's idea of a simulation of galaxies and the life within them. Then it got turned into a linear game with not very much originality.
Spore went from amazing and artistic simulation of a galaxy of evolving life combined as a sort of playground for you to play God with by manipulating the nature of things, to Kid friendly Sims in space with even less customization

That, C&C, Bioware and many more. EA has too much blood on it's hands, blood that needs to be repaid in full. The day EA goes under, I will party with a cake carrying the names of all the great franchises they fucked over.
These sins can not be atoned for, only when the stock market runs red with EA blood will I be satisfied.
