The original nostalgic tracks are in the game, songs like dragula aren't in it though. Which I won't miss very much.
Edit: Didn't see the lack of Hideki Naganuma. Nevermind, it's missing a lot.
Edit 2: Disregard the first edit, Hideki is in.
Wait, Hideki Naganuma's music won't be in the game? His stuff was almost half the sound track alone. And his music was easily the best.

Jet Set Groove 1 & 2 (after every stage)
Grace & Glory (ending theme)
Moody's Shuffle
Rock it
Sweet Soul Brother
Sneakman
That's Enough
Humming the Bassline
and Let Mom Sleep
And those aren't just 30% as Sega claims.
(also Magical Girl made by Guitar Vader and Funky Radio by BB Rights (the radio station theme) are missing aswell)
New levels sound awesome but holy cow, it's going to suck BALLS without the original music!
Also I do hope they go for the European and Japanese soundtrack version,
the US just got some unfitting music extra thrown in to get more kids buying it.
I must say, Rob Zombie and Cold just don't fit the mood of the game.
Jet Set Radio without Hideki Naganuma just doesn't feel the same anymore..

I'll probably just hook up my iPod to it's dock and mute the music in game.
What they mean about it being tricky of course is they have to cut into their record breaking profits to pay for them rather than just skimming the cheapest stuff off the top of the market like they invariably will.
Songs from B.B. Rights, Guitar Vader, and Hideki Naganuma will be in this version of Jet Set Radio.

In the end, Jet Set Radio keeps its original music (composed by Hideki Naganuma), and several fan favorites like "Magical Girl" (Guitar Vader) and "Funky Radio" (B.B. Rights).
According to these other sources, Hideki Naganuma, Guitar Vader, and B.B. Right's tracks are going to be present in the HD version
I'm hoping Shack News just made a mistake
