My flash drive doesn't want to seem to work with other peoples PC. It's a 32GB OCZ ATV Flash Drive and its got about 10GB free space left. I copyed WoW(For a friend) and gave it to him. He said when he tryed moving the folder it wouldn't respond. So I got it back. Opened it up, and it was sllllllooooowww. It was having all sorts of issues. Hanging, completely freezing and odd corrupt files. My Notepad++ folder was just some really odd signs like "¬+ , _" and stuff like that. When I try scanning for issues it just hangs near the end.
I was having issues myself when copying WoW into the flash drive. I also copyed some of the updates for WoW (Because they are huge...1.6GB for 1 patch). They are also corrupt.
Anyhelp on why it is doing this?
I'd say try formating it, and if that doesn't work, try a different file system. You have to realize that 32gb is quite a bit in terms of flash memory, so it being slow shouldn't really be surprising, especially with the amount of data you're moving. The more space there is on a file system, the chance of data becoming corrupt grows, so keep that in mind.
Of course, if you treat it like a dog toy, it could cause it to malfunction permanently.
I got it for christmas. So its good condition. However. I did format it so it worked for 360. But instead of formatting it into the defualt file system. I just deleted the "Xbox360" folder. And started working from that. The file system is now "FAT32".
I also think Satan has got control of my flash drive. My corrupt Notepad++ is now 512 "file" type files. All named to upsidedown crosses (Can't seem to paste it. It comes up like a odd symbol) all sized 1024kb. If a select them all and right click > propertys. it says everything but its only "0 bytes".
It's all corrupt. Format it. It could be broken, I'm not that good with flash memory.

Not the issue here. OP, you might be dealing with a dead drive.

No, you still need an account, you can download the game straight from Blizzard for free. It's just so people don't have to download 20GB.
