These guys aren't bronies, they just submitted the patch as a joke, and it was the only one to successfully make it through the approval process somehow, stacked up against other designs submitted by their training class.

Title is a bit off, its not actually a squadron patch, its just the one their class made. I recall seeing a pilot in training wearing it a while back here, and did a double take.
