I am okay with this.
Doesn't look half bad, especially for a 2-week prototype. I like the terraforming mechanic, and loving that music too. That said, with 3 days left to raise under £100K... not looking too bright for 22Cans.
The Art Style for the environment looks awesome, Not so sure about the housing though and how quickly they spreaded out. So what exactly is the goal of the game?
The artstyle looks damn nice but that does look like a two week prototype. They really could have made this before getting the hypetrain rolling, this isn't gonna make as much of a difference with three days left. What should be said is that hopefully you could control your followers or they could evolve in the way of combat / terrain where eventually they could lead to the modern age of them warring.
All the houses are extremely dev, and not medieval looking at all, it's kind of hilarious with the music. Also the fact that there's an city-building RTS without a perfectly gridded layout makes my brain itch with OCD. It'll be nice to see a god game that isn't just a bog-standard RTS where you can pick up trees or whatever. As in, you can't influence your peoples' free will but you can encourage them to be a certain way and just see what happens.
Yeah, they probably should have shown this off beforehand, they'll need a miracle to get this funded.
It looked more like a test for their engine than a game prototype. there is basically no game element in it.
