A review into the impact of EU migration on Britain has been delayed because the Government feared it was too positive.
The latest part of Whitehall’s Balance of Competences study, which looked specifically at freedom of movement, had been due to be released yesterday. But, according to reports, it has now been shelved until next year because Theresa May, the Home Secretary, takes issues with its findings.
Amid concerns that much of the evidence submitted was broadly positive about current rules for freedom of movement, The Times suggests Ms May believes the study underestimates the problem of people coming to Britain to take advantage of the welfare state, which is central to the Government’s rhetoric about cracking down on migrants. Mrs May believes that the EU free movement rules make it too easy for European migrants to come to Britain to establish residence and benefits entitlements.

If we can't blame foreigners then we'll have to accept that our government is flawed!
Theresa May, being classy as usual.
It's not European migrants that people are generally pissed at, it's non-eu migrants from china, india and non-developed countries. Especially the middle east, as alot of the population feel Islam is being imposed onto us.
More indepth analysis of non-eu migrants:
Different culture, different religion (Trouble joining society and becomes segregated), immigrants coming from a weaker economy, contributes very little and sends earnings back to their home country.
Takes up jobs across the board (unskilled and skilled, when theres so few jobs to actually have (See current unemployment rates), requires housing in a already limited market, either social or private. Then if they settle, bring family or produce a family, there's added pressure on the already over-used NHS, the overcrowded schooling system, and most migrants do not speak english well.

It's a lot more difficult for non-eu migrants to get jobs in the UK compared to EU migrants, the majority who come here and are able to get a job quickly are filling skilled jobs which we don't have enough people to fill ourselves. The whole culture point is incorrect, Europe has cultures just as different as those on the other side of the world. The point about non-eu migrants coming from a weaker economy is also incorrect, many European countries also have weak economies and the average citizen is very poor compared to the average UK citizen in some EU countries. The point about contributing very little and sending it all home is wrong, every working is paying income tax and they should be able to do whatever they want with the money they earn after we've taxed it so what's so wrong about them sending it to keep their family alive?
The whole thing about not speaking English well is wrong too. Most migrants I know speak better English than the average Briton of our generation, u get me blud?

Whenever I see people in an argument over UK's immigration stuff, it's the Eastern Europeans that usually get the blame.

I'm gearing up to go and study in the UK - I have to pull myself by the straps to get the money and pay for my life there (and furthermore work there!) and nothing makes my blood boil than some dickhead that thinks I come form some third-world communist shithole and I'm only there to "hurr steal our benefits".

What's your opinion on legal space aliens?
The situation in this country in my opinion is more a lack of skilled labour, not a lack of jobs. The fact is this problem has been building up for a long time. And to be honest, migrants speak better English and work hard which is more than I've seen a lot of English people do.

Tell me, which country are you referring to? This doesn't sound like Britain.

I've had people unironically call me a Polack and a thieving immigrant before.
Well fuck them, I'm taking all the benefits I can get my hands on.

They should be dealt with via a method that is traditional, cultured and civilised. In other words, something English. Hanging seems appropriate.
