People on the Steam Community HUB didn't seem to find a solution about it, so I hoped people here would do. Why does it have a 404 error? I found this a while ago and it was quite a surprise for me.
The workshop devoured it and gained its powers.
i.e I'm pretty sure it served no real purpose anymore since the forum are here, the steam workshop hosts all the mods and all announcements can go through Steam. It was just taking up money.

The reasons I want garrysmod.org to come back are the following:

The database was accidently cleared by unknown facepunch staff member, they have 0 interest in bringing it back.
