Needs to be no more than £40. I was looking at the Sandisk Cruzer Blade but apparently it's not particularly speedy. Any reccomendations?
I'd say Corsair Voyager GT 16GB.
My SanDisk Cruzer works fine for me. If you want something blazing fast and big I'd go with this though: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220261

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227272 This. I have one and it is fast and sure can take a beating. But they are amazing.
My Transcend Jetflash 16GB is pretty quick, I was able to run Portal from it with about the same loading time as the hard disk inside my laptop.
And here we go. I found one. http://www.overstock.com/Electronics/OCZ-Technology-16GB-Rally2-USB-2.0-Flash-Drive/3216569/product.html?cid=133635
I have a 16GB Toshiba TransMemory USB Drive which isn't particularly fast, but I have an 8GB Kingston DataTraveler that is nice and fast.
Thing is >16GB flash drives won't work in keyboard USB slots which is really annoying. 8GB is the perfect size/performance imo.
People use USB keyboard slots? News to me.
Yeah, my college has a Mac room and you either use the keyboard USB slots or the USB slots on the back of the iMac which everyone forgets to check when leaving, it's so annoying.
Thanks for your suggestions. :buddy:

This is a problem because if I remember correctly osx does not support ntfs.

I have a 16gb one of these. It's lightning fast and insanely tough. A friend of mine thought it would be funny to throw it in front of a bus and it got run over but you couldn't even tell!
