It was just brought to my attention that Shinji Hirano, former president of Konami Europe has been listed as President of Kojima Productions for at least a month. After going on LinkedIn to update my own profile I noticed that Hirano had recently updated his current position as the President at Kojima Productions; with his start date being November 2016. According to his work history, he last worked for Konami in March 2016 as a corporate officer. Considering his reputation at Konami, it’s quite surprising that this change occurred right under our noses. As well as being the president at Konami Europe, Shinji Hirano has also hosted Konami press conferences at E3.
The Koalition Shinji's Hirano LinkedIn Profile
I'm sure there were several good seeds left at Konami. Hopefully more join Kojima.
He is probably a good friend of Kojima. I couldn't imagine him letting any of that cancerous filth from konami into his new company.
I hope all these news is biting konami in the ass
The more people fucking Konami over the better this world can be. Also Death Stranding is gonna make all the CEO's at Konami commit suicide. Kojima Productions is literally the future that Konami could've had.
Hirano knows how to do his job and is an all-around alright guy. Word is he's one of the few people who defended Kojima when talking to Konami's board.
I hope all these news is biting konami in the ass
konami is about to make bank thanks to casinos being legalized in Japan
I hope Death Stranding makes billions, and is so good that it wins game of the decade the ultimate fuck you
I hope Death Stranding makes billions, and is so good that it wins game of the decade the ultimate fuck you
i don't think konami would really care if they're making money from casinos
I hope Death Stranding makes billions, and is so good that it wins game of the decade the ultimate fuck you
Konami literally does not care, it's not like they accidentally fucked over Kojima. they knew exactly what they were doing $¥$

He made sure they were on the same stage this year just so Kojima could come up onto it and actually have that moment that he deserved.
Waiting for Konami to go bankrupt and watch Kojima or Sony buy back the MGS franchise.
I don't know why Sony hasn't bought PT. It's an amazing tech demo that showcases the graphical fidelity the PS4 is capable.
Waiting for Konami to go bankrupt and watch Kojima or Sony buy back the MGS franchise.
I doubt Kojima wants to work on another MGS. Dude was seriously depressed having to work on it back when MGS4 was being made.
I heard he wanted Sons Of Liberty to be the last MGS.
He's wanted every MGS game he's worked on to be his last. First it was gonna be the original, then MG2 then MGS and so forth.

i hope all the good staff left at konami just joins kojipro and becomes the new (good) konami
I doubt Kojima wants to work on another MGS. Dude was seriously depressed having to work on it back when MGS4 was being made.
I'd still want MGS to be in the hands of Sony than Konami. Whether or not Kojima works on it, he can still approve or supervise

If Kojima sticks with them I'll have to play all of his future games with a controller.
