Hey guys I just bought a xbox 360 controller meant for CS:GO and it works pretty good theirs just one problem. I can strafe to the left going forward-right and backward-right but when i try to strafe forward-left and backward-left my character goes extremely slow. Is their any commands to fix this or should i just throw it away? It pisses me off I paid money for a controller that claimed it was for PC gaming and it doesn't even work the way it should. Help would be very appreciated.
Might need calibrating, go onto gamepads in control panel
Make sure all your sensitivity settings are correct in game as well.
Yeah, sounds like analog stick is calibrated to the right as center, do what Djjxkcvxlc said and make sure your stick isn't moved when you plug the gamepad in.
That was a poor attempt at my username, believe it or not I did not type my username by mashing the keyboard! I plan to change it though
