I'm impressed that this happened so quickly after the games release, I also note in the upper right corner of the preview video "FiveM PREDEV"
I'm not sure why is this suddenly big news? They've already done Vice City on the Rage engine for IV years ago, just as they've done with SA and 3.
Not going to be good until they HDify the assets and add in people and all the shit that makes it an actual city. It doesn't take much to simply copy/paste it over.

Seems cool, but definitely needs a texture overhaul. It looks like they ported the mod from GTA IV.
I hope they add more buildings because it feels so.... empty. Actually, I'd like to see them scrap the entire map and start from scratch while using the general layout because [t]http://media.rockstarwatch.net/news/8639174250.jpg[/t]
Even just redoing Vice City with GTA V assets would be fantastic. It's my favorite GTA game, I'd love to explore that city in HD EDIT: a mod adding the same radios would be a must, too... The music was superb
Most of the development for reverse engineering RAGE was already done with OpenIV
Except this wasn't even done using OpenIV. :v:
Not going to be good until they HDify the assets and add in people and all the shit that makes it an actual city. I wanna see them do San Andreas, the cities are actually incredibly close without the draw distance fog all over.

Yep, now you can get the same amount of content in a dlc, worth the same amount of money.

Will they somehow improve the textures? It looks really good already, but I can see that a lot of the textures are directly ported from the games.
San Andreas next please? Pretty please?
I wanna see them do San Andreas, the cities are actually incredibly close without the draw distance fog all over.
With V's RAGE engine they could put the cities a reasonable distance away and make flying between the three genuinely faster rather than 'Oh I just prefer to fly there'. I could almost always find, steal and drive a reasonably fast car between any two cities in San An faster than I could drive over to an airport, jack an airplane, get it airborne, fly it there and land it again.
