The S2 has lower resolution than the iPhone 4S. And all iPhones have worse specs because they never need good specs to have spectacular performance. An 800mhz dual core processor with 512mb of ram is not that great, but it is enough for the 4S.

Fact is the iPhone 5 probably will have some nicer features, but phones always leapfrog each other so it's just progress.

So it's just the screen in general that's better on the 4S than the S2.

the thing you have to remember with screens as small as smart phone screens is that the human eye can only see up to a certain DPI, past that it becomes indistinguishable, meaning the smaller the screen, the lower the resolution it must be to have a very high quality picture

So... which Android 4.0 features is it going to rip off this time around?

I bet it's going to look exactly like the iPhone 4S, with new specs (quad core, more RAM, maybe a 4" screen,...), and one gimmick they will announce as 'revolutionary'. And then every Apple fan will buy it.
