It sure is unique but damn, $400 for a headset that is 'most likely' sub par in quality compared to a $80+ headset, i can't imagine that thing having a good bass for example
But why would I ever choose these tiny things over a pair of huge, comfortable, closed headphones with nice big drivers and a soundstage capable of binaural audio reproduction when I'm already wearing a huge headset in front of my face?
I've never had the money to blow on top-end hardware, but I'm at least curious as to how the advantages of planar headphones fare when they're miniaturized like that. Consider that this is what planar magnetic headphones usually look like...
