Not to sure how to google this problem, But I've created a situation.
In an attempt to install windows 7 onto a spare hard-drive, the install disc wouldn't run up.
AS I already have windows on my main hard-drive I ran that up to install windows through windows, After selecting to install onto the other hard-drive, thinking all is dandy, It now needs my hard-drive to start up.
When the computer starts up it comes up with
"would you like to start windows 7 or windows 7"
Formatting the second harddrive again wouldn't work as the boot menu thing is on the first harddrive.
I'm asking how to un-install it from the first hard-drive and make the boot manager go away.
Format both drives, and start over. Just back-up anything important first.

I recommend this, however i think you can change the bootfile but I can't remember how.
type msconfig in the start menu, go to boot tab. You should be able to delete one of the OS entries

True, but there's MBR bullshit to fix as well, and it's just easier to start over.
