Ok so as far back as I can remember all I've ever drawn was little stick figures and easy stuff. Now that I have been growing more bored of video games I decided to take up art once again but make good stuff instead of the same old thing. Here is my drawing of a hand for the first time, and some Arabic dude for the first time. I know his face is fucked up and I have to work on his head but I feel as though I'm getting the hang of bodies but I'm not quite there yet. Tell me what you guys think:
Try and remake it with photoshops
Try and remake it with photoshops
I'll do that on down the road, I'm just getting the basics down pat right now.
study human anatomy a little they're out of proportion, better to learn now than later down the track like i did.
Hand looks squished. Seems painful...
The Arabic dude's pectorals are too high up and his legs are too far apart, makes him look very woman-ish.
How you worked the hand? Today I tryed some hand anatomy just observing mine in different positions, turned out well. Try it yourself till you're happy with the result About the full body, try finding some tutorials. Some tips I remember, like body high must be 7 time the size of the head, shoulder (tip to tip) must have 3 times the head width. The basic I got from deviant art. Sorry if I gave any wrong info but hope it help you improve your drawing skill
