Not happening. I've seen "Let's Play <game name here>"-videos that i want to make too.
I asked the makers, and they said it just records both wihtout a problem. I have a mic that is WAY too sensitive for recording. But still, i have one.
Main problem is, that i cannot record both the game sound AND my speech at the same time. (Tried other programs like Audacity in the background, too sensitive. I heard my breathing, every single keyboard tap and it just sounded horrible.) So, how the hell can i make it record both at the same time? I have two options in my recording options:
FrontMic (records speech)
Detect best audio input (Only the game.)
But there ain't both.
record the speech after? or use audacity in the background recording your speech but with a lower volume
............No.
I want to make stuff up in the fly.
Recording comments later makes them too boring =(
Output mic audio, record from stereo mix
Right-click audio thing, recording devices, right-click mic, properties, listen, listen to this device, ok.
You'll hear yourself but it'll work.

Sorry for doublepost, but i can NOT see any options besides these:
Sound Device
Sound input
And i cannot do anything to those.
They forgot to mention you need windows 7 for that. (Not sure if vista can do it.)

yes vista can do it too.
RIght click the orange Volume button and click "Audio Devces"
Under Speakers, you should see your speakers. Right click them and hit "Properties"
Next to "Microphone" uncheck the Mute button and check the levels. You won't hear an echo at all, it's how I did it.
HOWEVER, you may notice a performance decrease, both In-Game and Microphone sound is very high quality and Fraps will have a tough time processing it

The "orange volume button" is Realtek's control center. If he doesn't have Realtek drivers that button won't exist.
Go to Control Panel -> Sound instead.

Also I'd like to know a better, FREE way (without hearing your own voice) for this as well. There's Virtual Audio Cable (google it), but it's not free (well, the free version inserts "Trial" into the audio all the time)
