The plebian charlatans didn't even consider Xenoblade. Then again, this IS ShackNews we're talking about.
For me (as far as multiplayer goes), a good month-long game would be Minecraft with a decent modpack without stuff that's too overpowered in early-game stages. It's always been fun with friends and spans a month or two before a server is reset because we're all have really high-tier items.
If you spend a month on The Witcher 2 you must have some serious issues.
Nevertheless, these articles do not belong in the news node. Why? Because they aren't fucking news.
Oh wow totally haven't heard of Skyrim before, Thanks Shacknews! I can have an average time of 153 hours with that game? Too bad it came out FUCKING 30755 hours ago you cunts! I could have played through this game over 200 times by now! What the fuck is wrong with these STUPID Top 5, 10, whatever's every day?
I like how they mixed up the names and personalities for Trevor and Franklin. Games journalism, everyone.
I love shaknews
I love shaknews
Can't wait for future articles like: Top 10 Games that actually take place in a coma or Top 10 Videogame theories that will ruin your childhood
Top 10 awful video game top lists Number 1: This fucking list
a street hustler named Trevor; Michael, a retired bank robber, and a pyschopath named Franklin.
My fucking sides.
They've been making quite alot of these "lists of games" articles these days...

JS 42 hours is not the same as a month. I beat GTA5 in a few days and I got 47 hours out of it.
JS 42 hours is not the same as a month. I beat GTA5 in a few days and I got 47 hours out of it.
Read the article. Adding up the six games amount to a month of play time if you play 16 hours a day.
Read the article. Adding up the six games amount to a month of play time if you play 16 hours a day.
the kind of people that complain about these articles all day don't bother actually reading the articles
The average completion time does not take into account the recently implemented heist multiplayer mode, which would surely add more hours sacrificed to the game.
It does not take multiplayer into account at all anyway, good job Shacknews.
the kind of people that complain about these articles all day don't bother actually reading the articles
Umm Do you want clickbait articles? Because that's all these are.
the kind of people that complain about these articles all day don't bother actually reading the articles
The articles are still shit though.
I kind of dislike games that are that long sometimes. I get really burnt out easily and I just want to get going with a different game. 10-15 hours is perfect for me to be honest. Anything beyond 30-40 hours to beat a game and I get sick of it.
Umm Do you want clickbait articles? Because that's all these are.
the best thing about clickbait articles is that they're always distinguishable from their titles. Makes them easy to ignore if you don't like them [editline]15th May 2015[/editline]
I kind of dislike games that are that long sometimes. Divinity is an amazing game to play through coop because of this

I had to tell my buds in the Minecraft server that we shouldn't use those "mine big field, get overloaded in loot" machines because it'll make everything too easy. After complaining we finally make one and then a day later we already did everything and got bored. Minecraft needs more mods that don't shower you in loot too easily.

I played through the Witcher 2 In one 13 hour marathon and did all the side quests and minigames It was a fucking amazing game but definitely not a game that would last a month. Even with one or two hours a day.

Basically, take this shit with a pinch of salt. Plus balls to that idea, if a game hooks me I could sink any amount of time into it, that's why the first thing I did when I beat the Mass Effect trilogy (almost 100% + no one I could have saved died) was play it from the start again.
