A long time and some months ago, me and a friend worked together on a little music project. We decided to get together and make ourselves a little "EP" of some music we've made, under the name 'Superduper'. We went back and forth with ideas and songs over the net and this is the result. It's called Opptur, and it's got four songs, neatly packed together in the form of a soundcloud set. My addition to these songs are 'Etterpå' and 'På taket'.
You may check it out if you want! :) We are thinking about doing this again sometime because it is really fun. And now we will have much more experience then back then. We'll see.
here it is:

Now we've got our bandcamp site up!

I really like the whole concept behind the album. Sounds unconventional, but still very catchy.
Can you tell us what you guys used to create the tracks?
And did you guys work on a track together or were they done separately?
First track reminded me of Tosca, the looped electronic backing with some improv on top.
The second track is cool, nice burst of energy after the first track. Although when it breaks down at 1:47 and continues chilled for a bit, I was expecting it to go crazy again.
I'm guessing that the vocals and guitar are live in track 3? It's great hearing live and programmed/electronic mix. The feedback on the delay at the end was a little harsh sounding.
Great moods. Interesting sounds too- far from some of the generic stuff you hear in this forum. I love that it's mixed too. Love flowing albums. I think the mixing could do with work in some places- some of the sounds were too quiet/loud, in my opinion.
Could I suggest you start a bandcamp page if you're going to do more like this? Makes it easier for people to download in one file, multiple format options too. If it were on bandcamp I might have donated some money for it too :)
All in all, it was really good! A refreshing mix and some really nice tunes. I hope you work on some more music again soon!
(I like the album cover too)

I was primarily using Cubase, my friend was using Ableton Live.
The tracks were mostly done separately, because of us using different hosts and being located in different places. We had only agreed on a kind of sound we wanted. I did the stitching together / "mastering" of the tracks when we were done.

This stuff is great, really vibing it man
I'm really impressed by the level of professionality (is that a word?) in this EP. Sounds really well mixed, and the tracks themselves are brilliant. The layering of background sounds is very atmospheric, and as Kaburorne said the mix of live and electronic is flawless throughout. Excellent EP. :)
