We have marked the departure of this system from the noble ideals in which it was born and enshrined. We have seen the erosion of due process, the dilution of constitutional rights, the usurpation of the rightful authority of courts by the "discretion" of prosecutors. We have seen how the law is wielded less and less to uphold justice, and more and more to exercise control, authority and power in the interests of oppression or personal gain. We have been watching, and waiting.
http://www.cyberwarnews.info/2013/01/26/united-states-sentencing-commission-hacked-by-anonymous-for-oplastresort/

And this is going to do... what?
So from my understanding they've got some dirt on people now?
I wish there wasn't music playing over the already hard to understand voice.

That's a huge smack
Lol this is what it looks like now. [t]http://cdn.cyberwarnews.info/wp-content/gallery/oplastresort/www-ussc_-gov_.png[/t]
there's a nyan cat under that wow the cringing won't stop

Good stuff. They have a sound case, and I believe it's worth fighting for. People such as Mann are being held without justice, without common rights. The patriot act has outlived itself, and they need to stop that. I say, keep it up anonymous. (I recognize that Anonymous likes theatrics. I don't agree with their theatrics, but they do work. And at the core, they do have a good case in my opinion.)

pls dont nuke australia anonymous

I just want to see something interesting happen.
Eh, Anon is only fun because of the usual shitstorm that leads to nothing. Time to get some popcorn.
Jesus christ, they actually did it. I dunno about you guys, but I think about now would be a fun time to stock up on molotovs.
Wait whats that shit at the bottom They made the rest of the site editable too? Sounds fun
Wait whats that shit at the bottom They made the rest of the site editable too? Sounds fun
it's just client-side edits, only good it does is screenshots and having fun deleting things, as they mention. So who's taking bets on how long until we find out the name of the dude behind this latest thing

So who's taking bets on how long until we find out the name of the dude behind this latest thing
Uh i kind of doubt anyone cares, why they think revealing that the US have warheads is suddenly something that will make anyone concerned? Im more of taking a bet of how long this idiocy will last because it always leads to nothing.
On a completely unrelated note, I wonder how many people could make less stupid and overly dramatic Anonymous videos if they were given the proper editing tools. They're using random CGI footage made from the Windows 98 animator, cheesy robot voice, Inception-like soundtrack, even random clips from movies like War Games and Batman in the background. If they were motivated enough, any random joe off the street could probably make something really powerful and actually frightening without being all grand and epic.

Goddamn, nowadays everything Anonymous does is cringeworthy, despite that they do fight for some valid causes.
Goddamn, nowadays everything Anonymous does is cringeworthy, despite that they do fight for some valid causes.
How is it really cringeworthy? It does exactly what it's supposed to do: draw attention. Most Anonymous groups work by rallying people not directly associated with them. Sure, they hardly do any good with their initial statement, but the resulting statements of others, particularly those who know a thing or two about politics, are often good. They use this standard cookie cutter format because it's a symbol of Anonymous, not because it looks good, though they try to spice it up. I have to give them credit for trying. I certainly wouldn't go as far as saying I cringed at it. I just don't have too much hope in it.
I do not think this has anything to do with actual warheads, each warhead has a justice of the supreme courts name in front of it so I guess its just shit about them.
