Which do you prefer? As far as I'm concerned, Runescape has over 157 million accounts created, 8.5 mill. of them being active, against WoW's 11 million active users. Runescape is F2P with a P2P option. WoW is only P2P.
I would've made a poll, but I'm afraid my knowledge in that area is a bit too limited.

The game is not MEANT for 12 year olds. It's just turned out that way. Jagex have said this multiple times.
If you look at the very first quests, they are very complex and not meant for 12 year olds to figure out (not without a guide anyway)
