The papers include records of several Samsung employees discussing the similarities themselves. According to one document, Samsung even had a number of reports from Best Buy stating that customers were returning Samsung’s Galaxy tablets because when they bought them, they thought they were getting iPads. The South Korea-based consumer electronics giant is currently doing its best to prevent these damning documents from being used in the trial, for obvious reasons. I can't believe people are stupid enough to not look at and read the box art to determine which is which. Any good judge would throw the returns as evidence out because it was the customer's fault. (hence a dumb for the article, not for OP)

That's not really Samsung's fault. I don't see how that even happened. Did the customer not look at the packaging? Does the Samsung tablet come in a white box with a half-eaten apple on it? No? Then it's not an iPad

And this article demonstrates that phenomenon to some extent.
