I turned the comp on and logged in, but the "loading your personal settings" part took longer than usual. When I finally got in, there was no taskbar, no icons, etc. So I check the task manager and find that explorer.exe is running. I've reset both explorer.exe and the computer, however the problem is still here.
Run some scans with the virus scanner of your choice.
That was actually one of my first thoughts. I found out that Windows got corrupted. I backed everything up and now I'm running Linux (Arch for those wondering). It had a good run.
