Looks like you took a box, extruded some fins/ wings out of it, then smoothed it to hell. This should really just go into the 3D Art thread. Don't make new threads unless you have a big project that is high quality.
Not threadworthy. It is too smooth for what it is.
well that sucks i thought it was thread worthy...sorreh
well that sucks i thought it was thread worthy...sorreh
Don't worry, you should keep modeling and post your results to the "Digital 3d Art v2" thread, there you'd get some help on how to improve your modeling too.
tutorials tutorials tutorials. tutorials tutorials tutorials tutorials tutorials tutorials tutorials. follow tutorials. pretty good start for a first proper model. my first models were a wineglass from a tutorial and then a gun i tried to make that ended up looking more like your plane because i did the exact same thing hitting smooth a billion times thinking that smoothness will make it look good. i'll be completely honest though: this model sucks. everyone's models do when they are just beginning. if you want to get good keep working at it. just try not to post shit you make this early on. take a step back and look at your model not from an "oh man i just spent like 2 hours making this cool 100 million polygon plane, i'm so proud!" try and see how close it is to the source inspiration and realize "wow this is pretty bad. oh well, next model."
lol thanks at least that was constructive..where is a good place for cinema 4d tutorials?
