President of the Bloomington Firefighters Union IAFF Local 49 and Bloomington firefighter John Meckley said at least a dozen gravestones were damaged.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/in2ep0e.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/khhnOta.jpg[/t] Absolutely atrocious, ignorant behaviour.
I don't even have words for this stupidity. Then again Illinois wasn't exactly filled with the brightest people sometimes when I lived there, although I don't mean to say that as fact or sling shit.
Kinda the reason why grave yards have walls that and to stop the dead from leaving..
Were there not signs marking "This is a Cemetery fuck off" ?
[t]http://i.imgur.com/in2ep0e.jpg[/t]
A Trump supporter driving a Cruze?
That's a strange grave yard. Seems like just a couple dozen of those flat imbedded plates and no fence or sign or anything. I dunno. Seems like an easy mistake to make. They don't even look like headstones to me. I mean, they are now I know but at first glance I'd assume they were like electrical grates. I've never seen graves like that around here. Also it's a big empty grass field and like a single row of graves? Is this a public park with some graves in it too or? I'm just confused by it.
While the sheer stupidity of this can not be defended, I don't think this was intentional by any means and looks like that from the pictures that part of the lot had not been used yet, however from across the street of the airport you can see it is a grave yard. will the mexicans pay for that, too?
The only reason it looks like a graveyard to me are all the flowers they have, since it's Winter I doubt anyone left flowers out which is why people used it to park. I don't think they actually said "Oh, a graveyard this is the perfect place to leave my vehicle." I honestly don't think they even realized. It's shitty though, I'd feel bad if I did that found out afterwards it was a graveyard. I've just never seen those types of headstones before.

Think of coming from the airport after realising that there isn't any parking left.
Were there not signs marking "This is a Cemetery fuck off" ? A Trump supporter driving a Cruze?
What are they supposed to drive?
I've just never seen those types of headstones before.
well they're kinda not visible from the road, eh I've seen these types in all the places I've actually visited sites, many in Illinois, Minnesota and Kentucky particularly. Also I've seen plenty of those little flat ones have a plackard that sits up in the middle, which is removed by groundskeeping before mowing the area still, accident or not, you'd think getting out of your car and walking out somebody would go "OH SHIT THERE'S STONES WITH NAMES HERE WHAT'S THAT ABOUT" and maybe scoot off the plots
What are they supposed to drive?
A Ford Trump™
but we won't post about violent Sanders supporters because that doesn't fit our political agenda, right?
but we won't post about violent Sanders supporters because that doesn't fit our political agenda, right?
did you miss the pages-long thread berating the huge trump rally interruption nonsense in Chicago
but we won't post about violent Sanders supporters because that doesn't fit our political agenda, right?
Go make a thread about violent Sanders supporters, then. [editline]49[/editline] oh i forgot about the chicago thing, what does that say about me
Careful there, your vendetta is showing.
Just for once , I'd like to see someone on here actually question why people are following Trump, why he's getting such a vast amount of support and why people are voting for him, because if people honestly are willing to brand all of his supporters as blue collar racists, then they're just ignoring the bigger picture and deluding themselves. Sanders won't win and he's been consistently trailing behind but people yet again will ignore this and make claims of this great inevitable victory that will never fucking happen. I don't support Trump and I don't support Sanders, but Jesus, Mary and Joseph people will do anything to continue to convince themselves that their candidate will win. I also love how one event in a graveyard is somehow representative of all Trump supporters.
no one said anything about sanders before you, you're a little obsessed
I'm speaking generally, not just about this thread. I'm just making my point that people will never criticise Sanders because people don't want to challenge the consensus view.

actually if you look there's a rather big thread about protestors being toxic to turmp and him cancelling an appearance over it right on the front page. here let me link it for you https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1510164
The title is presumptuous and misleading. Nowhere in the article does it state that Trump supporters caused it, only that it happened in the proximity of a Trump rally. It could have been people who were showing up to protest against him for all we know.
Good on the people volunteering to do repair work.
